The Panorama Motor Inn is very conveniently located in Charlestown. NON SMOKING .We have 33 units, mostly ground floor. All units are air-conditioned and easy to get to with front and rear access. Some of our luxury units have balconies, where you can relax and watch the sunset over the valley. During the day, work on your tan by the pool after doing a bit of shopping. For mum and dad, send the kids to the movies two doors up from the motel, while you relax outside, or in your unit with Foxtel TV and room service and restaurant available Monday to Friday nights.

Charlestown CBD is one of the fastest growing areas in NSW. We are the closest motel, being only a 5 minute walk to Charlestown Square Shopping Centre. This is the biggest shopping centre in Newcastle. A 10 minute drive will get you to the new Kotara Westfields, another central shopping centre.

All major hospitals in Newcastle including John Hunter, Lake Macquarie Private Hospital and Warners Bay are only 5 minutes away. Our friendly staff can help you in any situation that may arise.

All rooms contain a toaster, tea and coffee making facilities, kettle, iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. Inspection is welcome. Guest laundry facilities are available. Room service is available 5 nights a week and the motel is fully licenced.

  1. The Panorama Motor Inn is located at 256 Pacific Highway Charlestown, 10km from the Newcastle CBD. Coming from the south take the Eastern Lake Macquarie exit from the F3 Freeway towards Swansea/Belmont. Just after the Charlestown CBD you will see the orange Panorama Motor Inn sign on the left hand side. Coming in from the north on the Pacific Hwy follow the signs to Newcastle and then through to Charlestown. As you approach the Charlestown CBD you will see the orange Panorama Motor Inn sign on your right.
